ETA System Redesign

A user-centered redesign concept for the Sri Lanka ETA portal

Project overview

This project focused on creating a redesign concept for the Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) portal. The goal was to modernize the user experience, streamline application processes, and ensure the portal is accessible and intuitive for a diverse range of international travelers.

My contribution

I conducted an in-depth analysis of the current portal to identify usability issues and friction points. I researched and benchmarked ETA systems from other countries to understand best practices. Based on insights from potential user groups, I mapped out streamlined user flows, designed a modular design system, and created an intuitive, mobile-friendly interface focused on clarity, trust, and ease of use.
