Bitcoin Sri Lanka
The home of all things Bitcoin in Sri Lanka.
Project overview
Bitcoin Sri Lanka is a hub for Bitcoin education and community engagement, tailored to a Sri Lankan audience. The website serves as a platform for learning, with structured content, Sinhala PDF resources, a CMS-powered blog, and event registrations. Built with clarity and trust in mind, the site aims to make Bitcoin knowledge accessible and relevant to locals.
My contribution
My role encompassed the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from initial concept to front-end implementation and system maintenance:
Discovery & Requirements
I initiated the project by conducting thorough requirement gathering sessions to understand user needs, pain points, and core functionalities.
User Understanding
I developed user personas to represent the diverse members of the Bitcoin community, ensuring a truly user-centered approach to design decisions.
Visual Direction
Through moodboards, I established the visual aesthetic and brand personality, setting the tone for the platform's engaging and trustworthy appearance.
Information Architecture & Wireframing
I created wireframes to define the structural layout and content hierarchy, ensuring an intuitive user flow for learning, browsing blogs, and finding events.
Design System Development
I created a robust design system, which included reusable components and style guidelines, to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the entire website.
User Interface (UI) Design
I meticulously crafted a user-friendly and visually appealing UI, focusing on clarity, ease of navigation, and responsiveness across all devices.
Platform Development & Management (Framer)
I utilized Framer to build the entire website, personally handling the integration and management of the CMS for the blog, implementing user submission forms, configuring localization (multi-language support), and viewing analytics and user behaviors for continuous improvement and system maintenance.
